External Mount

This is where the spacing is square. External mounting takes advantage of our unique hinge and frame. With external mounting, we can create the internal size of the frame almost to match your window size, so that you maximise the outlook, visibility and light coming into the room through the windows. With external mount, we aim to mount either to the window jam, or the surrounding window casing. We want to match your design requirements, with light ingress, and hinge suitability.

Where we have a 20mm wide window jam, we are able to use the Intermat hinges, to mount easily and adjust to sit flush with the frame, while overlapping the jam, and therefore minimising light ingress. Where the jam is wider than 20mm, we use our special hinges, which give us variable depth availability.

Our components main blade is 89mm coverage, which is non varying, therefore in any given design, and size we use light stops to help cover the required dimensions and fit into the specific measurements .

Our Shutters have 1 design, and 1 colour. They come in white, and the frame design is standard – this allows us to be super affordable, and fast. 

Each Shutter we make is custom made, so you can make any dimensions you need.

    • We maintain rigidity by not manufacturing larger than 1 metre, so we will often do shutter multiples on larger windows
