Custom Mount

This is where the hinges are mounted to a specific design on the external of the window jam. Where there are different requirements to standard internal or external, we need to match the mounting options to the customers design requirements. Essentially you need solid framing, to be able to attach your shutters too, so we are looking at a custom model to achieve that.

Where we need a custom mount, we assess the location and frame we attach to, so that we can choose the right hinges to supply with the shutters.

Our components main blade is 89mm coverage, which is non varying, therefore in any given design, and size we use light stops to help cover the required dimensions and fit into the specific measurements .

Our Shutters have 1 design, and 1 colour. They come in white, and the frame design is standard – this allows us to be super affordable, and fast.

Each Shutter we make is custom made, so you can make any dimensions you need.

    • Every panel is custom made – you can have any size you want

    • It is made at our workshop near Wairau Park, on the North Shore

    • We can deliver and install if you need

    • We screw together our frames – rather than stapling them together

    • Custom built in Auckland – once your order is placed, we will have them manufactured within 4 weeks – (if not sooner)

    • Great hinges – where possible we have chosen to use Hettich, Intermat hinges, which allow fast and simple installation

    • High Quality PVC compound – made for window furnishings – doesn’t yellow

    • We maintain rigidity by not manufacturing larger than 1 metre, so we will often do shutter multiples on larger windows

    • We add horizontal braces on panels over 1.2 metres high

    • Hidden hinges – hinges that can’t be seen from the outside

    • Unique frame design that means you can cover the window frame, and reduce light

    • Frame

    • Blades/Louvres

    • Light Stops

    • Hinges

    • Opening Bar

    • Where they are a pair, we also supply a vertical light stop, which closes the gap in the middle
