‍ Customer Requirements

The customer wanted shutters installed to two tall lounge windows in their modern Glendowie townhouse. The windows looked directly towards a boundary fence, so privacy and creating a more attractive outlook were important considerations. The shutters were required as part of the final stages of completing the home.

The project covered two windows with a total shutter area of approximately 3.4 m². The customer wanted a clean, elegant finish that would complement the modern style of the townhouse while providing flexibility in controlling light and privacy.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed two custom-made white timber shutters with 63 mm blades, fitted using Z frames. Each tall lounge window received its own shutter, creating a balanced and symmetrical appearance.

The shutters were manufactured and installed approximately 11 weeks after ordering. The finished installation transformed the view from the lounge by softening the outlook towards the fence while providing excellent privacy and light control. The timeless design complements the interior and completes the modern townhouse.
