‍ Customer Requirements

The customer wanted to cover a tall kitchen window in their modern Glendowie townhouse and preferred the natural appearance and finish of timber shutters. Privacy and light control were important, while maintaining a clean and balanced appearance within the kitchen.

The project involved a single window with a total shutter area of approximately 2.5 m². Due to the width of the opening, the customer required the window to be split into two shutter panels to provide practical operation and a symmetrical appearance.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed custom-made white timber shutters with 63 mm blades, fitted using a Z frame. Although there was only one window, the width of the opening meant that two large shutter panels were required to achieve the desired result and provide easy operation.

The shutters were manufactured and installed approximately 12 weeks after ordering. The completed installation provides privacy, adjustable light control, and a timeless finish that complements the clean lines of the modern townhouse.
